MMA names 2013 board of directors
Dick Young was recently named 2013 President of Midwest Manufacturers’ Association for the 13th consecutive year. Young owns and operates Innova Industries, Inc., a Fergus-Falls manufacturer specializing in flat laser cutting, three-dimensional laser cutting and fabrication.
Dick Young was recently named 2013 President of Midwest Manufacturers’ Association for the 13th consecutive year. Young owns and operates Innova Industries, Inc., a Fergus-Falls manufacturer specializing in flat laser cutting, three-dimensional laser cutting and fabrication.
Steve Utech was named vice president of the association. Utech serves as a senior vice president at Republic Bank, head quartered in Duluth. He has served on the board of directors for Midwest Manufacturers’ Association since 2001. Lisa Koll, regional manager at Doherty Staffing Solutions, will serve as secretary of the organization in 2013. The treasurer position was filled by Ed Bolas, controller at Dycast Specialties in Starbuck, Minn.
Serving as directors in 2013 are: Les Engel, Engel Metallurgical, Sauk Rapids; Rusty Hoglund, Superior Steel, Superior; Dan Larson, Hydrosolutions of Duluth; Elroy Vesta, EJ Enterprises, Fergus Falls; and Nick Weis, Thermo-Tech Windows, Sauk Rapids.
Midwest Manufacturers’ Association is a nonprofit organization that fosters the growth and success of the manufacturing industry by providing services to manufacturers associations in the Upper Midwest. The office is located in Elbow Lake, Minn.
