The Lake Superior Zoological Society’s gala event Paw de Deux (French for “a dance for two”) will be held Feb. 9 at the Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth.

Attendees will experience an exquisite evening that will include a gourmet three course dinner, live music, free martinis and champagne, and live and silent auctions.

The evening will conclude with entertainment and dancing to the Pot Bellied Stallions.

A limited amount of tickets are still available at $100 per person and may be purchased online at www.lszoo.org or call 218-730-4500, ext. 200.

Money raised at the gala will be used for the zoo’s Rebuild Renew Revitalize campaign and will assist the zoo in its recovery efforts after the extensive damage sustained during the June flood.

“This is the year, more than ever, that we need people to step up and help out our zoo,” said Jan Zigich, co-chair and Zoological Society board member.

Gala guests are invited to bid on an array of diverse auction items including “Zoo Veterinarian for a Day,” Behind-the-Scenes tour of the zoo, three nights stay in Napa Valley, plane ride, original artwork by local artists, entertainment and dining packages, getaways, beautiful jewelry, services and specialty items. Auction items may be viewed at www.lszoo.org.
