Spartan girls win at Antigo
The Superior High School girls hockey team picked up its second win of the season with a 3-2 victory over the Northern Edge Friday night in Antigo.
The Superior High School girls hockey team picked up its second win of the season with a 3-2 victory over the Northern Edge Friday night in Antigo.
Anna Lurndal, Devyn Moss and Kari Miller scored goals and Justine Stenberg had 20 saves for the Spartans, who improved to 2-13.
Jordyn Thompson assisted on Lurndal’s goal; Tina Lurndal helped out on Moss’ goal; and Sadey Laurvick passed the puck to Miller.
The Spartans’ game Tuesday night at Eau Claire was postponed because of cold weather and will be made up at 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 7 at Hobbs Ice Center in Eau Claire.
In an earlier unreported game, Superior lost to Moose Lake Area 4-1.
Superior is at Hudson at 2 p.m. Saturday.
