The Northwestern High School girls basketball team defeated Chetek-Weyerhaeuser 43-29 Tuesday night in Chetek.
The Tigers trailed 6-4 after the first quarter and the games was tied 16-16 at the half.
Northwestern took over in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 13-6 in the third quarter and 14-7 in the fourth.
Gwen LaPole and Katie Hansen led the Tigers with 12 points apiece.
Mollie Mikyska also scored 12 points for Chetek.
Northwestern, 5-6 overall and 4-4 in the Heart O’ North Conference, is at Bloomer at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Chetek-Weyerhaeuser falls to 3-8 and 2-6 with the loss.
