SHS dancers to host LSC meet

The Superior High School dance team will host the fifth annual Lake Superior Conference championships at 1 p.m. Saturday in the SHS gym.

Schools participating will be Superior, Duluth Marshall, Duluth Denfeld and Hermantown.

Teams will be competing in high kick and jazz.

Schedule

12:30 p.m. — Doors open to the public

1 p.m. — Introductions and National Anthem (sung by Haley Siers)

1:10 p.m. — Kick competition (Denfeld, Hermantown, Superior, Marshall)

1:50 p.m. — Exhibition performances (Superior JV, Denfeld “B” Squad)

30 minute break

2:20 p.m. — Jazz competition (Hermantown, Denfeld, Marshall, Superior)

2:45 p.m. — Judges Break (concessions close) and Dancer heads or tails game

3 p.m. — Awards Ceremony
