The University of Wisconsin-Superior is seeking comments from the public in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.
The university will host a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association on March 4-6. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
Accreditation serves as an indicator of quality for the public and institution peers, enables the university to disperse federal financial aid and promotes self-examination and continuous improvement as a means to achieve excellence.
The public is invited to submit comments regarding the quality of the institution or its academic programs.
Comments must be in writing and received by Feb. 3 and are accepted at: Public Comment on UW-Superior. The Higher Learning Commission, 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500 Chicago, IL 60604-1411 or online at www.ncahlc.org.
