Event looks at GED changes

The Literacy Council of Superior/Douglas County is sponsoring a presentation on General Educational Development (GED) tests at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Peter Rich Center, 1201 N. Eighth St.

The Literacy Council of Superior/Douglas County is sponsoring a presentation on General Educational Development (GED) tests at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Peter Rich Center, 1201 N. Eighth St.

Staff members from the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College success center will be on hand to answer questions about GEDs, including what changes are expected to be made, how soon things will change and why it’s important to finish your GED now.

The event includes door prizes, gifts and refreshments. The presentation is free and open to the public.
