Gary D. Wermter

Gary D. Wermter, 66, of South Range, died Thursday Jan. 3, 2013 in Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Gary was born Feb. 6, 1946 in Superior to Kurt and Lois (Pederson) Wermter.

He was employed as a boilermaker for several years and also bartended at various local establishments. Gary lived life to the fullest and enjoyed playing cribbage, listening to country music, and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his children Nicole Spencer, Paula, Steve and Eric and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dale Wermter and his sister-in-law Rosemary (Krawza) Wermter.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday Jan. 15 in Downs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hawthorne.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Severson, David Wermter, Donnie Wermter, Jimmy Wermter, Rodger Smith, Robbie Wermter and Timmy Wermter.
