WEDDING: Bietka-Delegan

Joanna Bietka of Drummond, Wis., daughter Paul and Bernadette Bietka of Ashland, and Michael Delegan of Drummond were married Oct. 5, 2012, at St. Paul’s Church in Delta, Wis.

He is the son of George and Linda Delegan of South Range.

The maid of honor was their friend Jessica Kowalewski. The best man was their friend Casey Mickelson. The leaf bearer was Oliver Delegan, nephew of the groom. The ring bearer was Jamison Gallagher, nephew of the bride.

The bride graduated in 2005 from Ashland High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in forest management and forest ecology in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is employed as a forester with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in Barnes, Wis.

The groom graduated in 2003 from Superior High School and received a bachelor’s degree in forest management and urban forestry in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is employed as a forester with Groeschl Forestry Consulting in Hayward, Wis.
