LETTER: Call for peace in wake of tragedy
To the Telegram: It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we hear the news of yet another act of senseless violence that took the lives of school children and their teachers in Newtown, Conn. May love and compassion flow to all the families and friends affected by this tragedy.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we hear the news of yet another act of senseless violence that took the lives of school children and their teachers in Newtown, Conn. May love and compassion flow to all the families and friends affected by this tragedy.
May we all reflect as individuals and as members of faith communities on the causes of violence and ways to create a more peaceful society.
