Steven D. Holtz

Steven D. Holtz, 54, of Gordon died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 17, 1958, in Devils Lake, N.D., son of Darrell and Jacquelyn (Bratt) Holtz.

Steve worked many years as a truck driver for J. & B. Trucking, formerly Dean’s Trucking.

In addition to driving truck, he loved to hunt and fish.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents; and brother, Curtis Holtz.

Survivors include his son, James D. Roesler, Superior; daughters, Gail L. (Jesse) Nieters, St. Joseph, Minn., and Shawn LeeAnn McCauley, Superior; six grandchildren, Austin, Xzander, Gavin, Gabrielle, Sabrina and Tabala; sister, Marjorie Galt, Superior; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Monday, Jan. 7 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th St., Superior.
