Gertrude Margaret (Stariha) Berg born Jan. 29, 1948, went to be with the Lord Dec. 20, 2012.

Beloved wife, mother, grand-mother, sister and friend. One of 17 children in the Stariha family of Superior.

Survived by husband of 42 years Martin; children, Paul (Dawn Palmer), Brian (Diane Lansing), Renee (David) Gurnaby and Aaron; grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Faith, Landon, Hudson and Harper.

Gert worked for the County of Sacramento. She loved the Lord, seeing and visiting family and friends, being with her grandchildren, helping and doing for others, bible study, music in the parks, dancing and life. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Memorial service to be held on Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. at First Covenant Church, 10933 Progress Ct, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
