Kickoff for Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings has been moved to 3:25 p.m. The game at the Metrodome in Minneapolis will be televised by FOX.
The Packers will be in control of their own destiny for the NFC’s No. 2 playoff seed and can lock up a first-round bye with a win.
Meanwhile, if the Vikings win, they will make the NFC playoffs as a wild-card. They can also make the playoffs, if they lose, if Chicago, Dallas and the N.Y. Giants also lose.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson also needs 208 yards to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards.
The NFL also flexed the Dallas-Washington game, which will decide the NFC East title, to 7:20 p.m. and moved the New England-Miami game to 3:25 p.m.
If the Vikings beat the Packers, there is a chance the teams could meet in the first round of the playoffs, the following weekend at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
