Gov. Scott Walker says he wants to take Wisconsin backward four decades to a time when there was not same-day registration.
After a GOP nation-wide campaign to suppress voter turnout, Walker puts another wrinkle in his tea party agenda to suppress the Wisconsin vote.
Wisconsin’s turnout in the last election was 70 percent. Even though 30 percent did not vote, Scott Walker wants more people not to vote. He claims he is doing this voter suppression to help poll workers.
Most poll workers are happy to help new voters to vote.
Walker needs to focus on creating some family-supporting jobs rather than trying to shrink democracy.
