The Superior High School girls basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 79-17 win over the Proctor Rails Thursday night in the SHS gym.
The Spartans dominated from the opening tip, leading 6-0, 18-2, 34-6 and 49-9 at the half.
Superior scored the first 13 points of the second half for a 62-9 lead.
All 10 SHS players scored points, led by Jessica Lindstom and Alyssa Correll with 13 apiece. Hailey Kontny added 12 points and Allison Wainionpaa had 10. Lindstrom was also in double digits in rebounds.
Superior hosts Chisago Lakes tonight and plays at Denfeld Tuesday. Both games begin at 7:15 p.m.
