The Drummond Lumberjacks defeated the Solon Springs 43-27 in a boys basketball game Thursday night in the SSHS gym.
The loss was the first of the season for the Eagles, who fall to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the Indianhead West Conference.
Drummond (2-0, 1-0) was led by Ben Best’s 19 points. Andrew McKinney added eight points and Mitch Byrd had seven.
Trey Scheldroup led the Eagles with eight points. Daniel Gengenbach added six points, Brett Missinne, Jake Dahlberg and Tyler Long added four points apiece, and Logan Long made a free throw.
Solon Springs is at South Shore on Tuesday night.
