Andrew Eisenmann won two individual events and anchored to winning relay teams to help the Superior High School swimming team defeat Duluth 96-87 Thursday evening in the SHS pool.
Eisenmann won the 50 and 100 freestyle races. His time of 23.03 in the 50 was a personal best time. He also had a personal best time on the 400 relay with a leg of 49.2 seconds.
Other event winners for the Spartans were Logan Kittelson in the 200 free, Aaron Christner in the 200 IM and diver Mason Morris.
“We started slow, but Andrew’s wins, and the 1-2 finishes in the two free relays, got us back into the meet,” SHS coach George Lehman said.
The Spartans, now 1-1 in dual meets, will compete in the Rhinelander Invitational at 1 p.m. Saturday.
