Elsie S. Maki

Elsie S. Maki, 98, of Saint Paul, Minn., loved by four generations, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 2, 2012.

She is preceded in death by husband of 30 years, Arvo; seven siblings; and son-in-law, Phillip Hiiva.

Elsie is survived by children, Kathleen Kindgren, John (Carol) Maki, Karen (James) McGinnis; three grandchildren, Mark (Laura) Hiiva, John (Joy) Hiiva, David (Molly) Maki; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Masako Nurnberger; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the 1:30 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Johanna Shores, 3220 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills, Minn. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
