Singers offer holiday concerts

The Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, present their 2012-13 Christmas concert entitled “Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth” throughout the Twin Ports and surrounding area this December and January.

The Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, present their 2012-13 Christmas concert entitled “Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth” throughout the Twin Ports and surrounding area this December and January. “Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth” is an hour long choral cantata chronicling and celebrating the birth of our Lord. Along with traditional carols, “Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth” also includes majestic and exciting songs of praise that are sure to stir the emotions that are linked to this wondrous time of the year.

Upcoming concerts include the following: 7 p.m. tonight at Salem Lutheran Church in Hermantown,; Sunday at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Superior; Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Superior; Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Duluth; Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at Lake Nebagamon Auditorium; Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church in Superior; Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center; Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Superior; Jan 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Assumption Church in Superior.
