Donna Marie (Austin) Nelson

Donna Marie (Austin) Nelson, 81, of Superior died Tuesday Nov. 27, 2012, in Villa-Marina.

Donna was born June 3, 1931, in Superior to Emil and Hattie (Johnson) Austin.

Donna had been employed by Jeno's for many years.

She is survived by sons, Gordon E. (Judy) Nelson Jr. of Hackensack Minn. and Ricky Nelson of Solon Springs Wis.; daughter, Patricia (Darrell) Keene of Superior; grandchildren, Gordon (LaRae) Nelson III, Cory (Brandi) Marvin, Lisa Keene, and Erin Keene; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Whitney and Nathan Nelson and Logan and Lane Marvin; sisters-in-law, Jean (James) Peterson and Janis (Donald) Larson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon E. Nelson Sr.; brothers, Delbert, Robert and Carl Austin; and sisters, Joyce Austin, Genevieve O'Keefe and Alice Fairbanks.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 1st in Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St., Superior with Rev. David Schoessow officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday Nov. 30th at Downs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dan Krisak, Nick Krisak, Darrell "Diito" Fairbanks, Dan Fairbanks, Dennis Austin and Jeff Austin.
