Spartan wrestling team opens season tonight

The Superior High School wrestling team opens its season by hosting Cumberland.

The SHS dance team will perform prior to the match, which begins at 7 p.m. in the SHS gym.

New head coach Chip Brochu currently has 29 wrestlers on his roster, including seniors Levi Day (126 pounds) and Jaylon Brown (170).

Brochu’s assistant coach is Shawn Helmueller.
