MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Madison police say two Black Friday shoppers attacked a security guard at J.C. Penney after he accused them of shoplifting, leaving the guard with a cut near his ear.
A WMTV-TV report Monday says two women and a 14-year-old girl were arrested, and another woman was cited.
The 24-year-old guard told police the women were placing stolen items in a stroller, beneath a baby. He says when he asked them to stop, a 22-year-old Sun Prairie woman and the 14-year-old punched and kicked him, while a 24-year-old Reedsburg woman yelled that she was going to kill him.
The 14-year-old later told an officer she has "anger problems."
Police say clothes and other stolen items were found beneath the baby.
A 23-year-old Sun Prairie woman was cited for retail theft.
