Seven vehicles seized from local drug dealers are for sale by the Superior Police Department.

Deputy Chief Matt Markon said the sale began Tuesday and will run for three weeks.

The courts awarded the vehicles to the police department. Some of them were used by the department for a while, according to Markon. A few of them are in fairly good shape and still have some life left in them.

The vehicles are being sold over the Internet at WisconsinSurplus.com.

The list includes a black 1974 Chevrolet Corvette with 110,695 miles on it; a green 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with 78,307 miles; 1 brown 1995 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with 185,888 miles; a white 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix with 91,434 miles; a tan 1998 Ford F150 4x4 with 163,980 miles; a grey 1999 Dodge Durango with 209,668 miles; and a green 1999 Toyota Four Runner SR5 with 172,514 miles.

The vehicles can be inspected by contacting Markon at 715-395-7400.
