Gentleman that he is, Sen. Johnson actually said that they weren’t “properly informed”. But he also could have used adjectives such as “masochistic”, as there will be pain, or “suicidal” as in economic suicide.
Barack Obama’s war on business and capitalism will be very painful for middle- and low-income workers trying to find jobs or keep jobs.
When Obama beats up employers with a cascade of regulations, taxes and demagoguery, do you think employers will be more likely or less likely to retain or hire workers? If you believe “more likely,” as many voters apparently do, you are unquestionably ignorant.
When demand for workers is dropping like a stone, do you think wages will be more likely or less likely to increase? If you believe “more likely,” you are seriously uninformed.
Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are unsustainable and President Obama, like a deer in the headlights, offers nothing more than criticism of anyone trying to fix them.
The president’s “solutions” are printing money, spending money and taxing “the rich.” But printing and spending money in a declining economy only leads to inflation and corruption. Raising taxes on the “rich” and so-called “rich” results in less money to the government, as the genuinely rich have a great deal of control as to when they choose to realize income. Just ask Warren Buffett.
Obama is either intentionally or ignorantly destroying the economy, neither of which should lend comfort. If this continues, we will become Europe, complete with labor strikes, strife and street riots. Socialism always ends badly.
Many middle, low and no-wage voters were vulnerable to the deceit and demagoguery of President Obama and they marked their ballots accordingly. Unknowingly, they voted for higher unemployment, smaller paychecks and diminished purchasing power, harming themselves more than any other socio-economic group. Sadly, tragically, they weren’t properly informed.
