Superior: The Eagles Auxiliary hosts a rummage and bake sale along with an all you can eat lunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 1710 N. 12th St. The menu includes soup and sandwiches of many kinds. Lake Nebagamon: Kids In Nebagamon hosts a Holiday Craft Fair 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Nebagamon Auditorium, 11596 Waterfront Drive. The event features two full floors of crafts, holiday décor, homemade food, jams, jellies and relishes. A soup and croissant luncheon is available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.

Superior: The Celtic Moose Gift Shoppe, 5819 Tower Avenue holds a “He’s Hunting….She’s Hunting” sale 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone receives a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate. Receive an extra chance for every nonperishable food item brought in for the Salvation Army. Sales of the Lucinda pins go to Harbor House.

Amnicon: “Happy Crafters” Holiday Craft & Bake Sale runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Amnicon Town Hall, Highway 2. Lunch served. Bring a food shelf item, for local food shelf.

Solon Springs: Rural Arts Voice North hosts a book release party at 2 p.m. at the Solon Springs Community Center. The book, “RAVEN 2012: Voices From the North Country,” is a collection of poetry, fiction, personal essays, and memoirs written by authors in Douglas, Bayfield, and Washburn counties. The event includes a reception with harp music, food and beverages and drawings for door prizes. Following the reception, authors will read from the book. Copies of the book are available to purchase.

Superior: The four Duluth-Superior Symphony’s four youth ensembles hold a fall concert at 3 p.m. at Superior High School, 2600 Catlin Ave. The concert, sponsored by US Bank, will feature a variety of music including Holst’s “Jupiter” from “The Planets” and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony presented by the DSSO’s Sinfonia, Percussion ensemble, Concert Orchestra and Youth Symphony. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, available at the door or call 218-623-3776.

Duluth: Local poet and author Barton Sutter presents the program for the November meeting of the Swedish Cultural Society of Duluth at 3:30 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 219 N. Sixth Ave. E.

Superior: A bake sale to fund the Spartan Bike Build runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Government Center Atrium, 1316 N. 14th St. Donations of baked goods are needed. Baked goods are sold 10:30-11 a.m. The Spartan Bike Build is a mentoring project in which Superior High School seniors pair up with local professionals to strip down a motorcycle and rebuild it into a custom bike.
