The University of Wisconsin-Superior athletic department, in conjunction with the Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center, will be holding a Military Appreciation Day at the Yellowajckets’ men’s and women’s hockey games on Saturday at Wessman Arena.
The Yellowjacket women’s team will host UW-River Falls at 2 p.m., followed by the UWS men hosting UW-Stevens Point at 7:05 p.m.
Admission is free for all active and retired military personnel who show their military identification card. The first 75 fans for each game will also receive a set of UWS dog tags, courtesy of the Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center.
