Family friendly

Pilgrim Lutheran Church offers kid-friendly, family friendly special worship evenings with outstanding local musicians and lots of good fun. Upcoming dates for Worship on Wednesday (WOW) are 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and Nov. 28 Advent services will be Dec. 5, 12 and 19. Area musicians perform in a Christmas Concert with country flair on Dec. 19.

Relay for Life chili supper

The members of the Bethel Lutheran Relay for Life Team will be holding a chili supper to kick off their year of fundraising for the 2013 Relay for Life for Cancer. It will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall of the church, 5821 John Ave., Superior. The church is handicap accessible. There will be white chili, vegetarian chili and good old fashioned regular chili with various toppings, coffee or juice, bread, crackers and dessert. A free will offering will be taken.
