One-act heads to state
The Superior High School one-act team will move on to state competition following its performance in Eau Claire last Friday. The team’s production of “Booby Trap” earned a state berth in Stevens Point on Nov. 16 or 17.
The Superior High School one-act team will move on to state competition following its performance in Eau Claire last Friday. The team’s production of “Booby Trap” earned a state berth in Stevens Point on Nov. 16 or 17. The play is about a soldier who sits on a “booby trap” and reflects back on his life as he deals with the situation at hand. The SHS one-act team will give two community performances today in the SHS Performing Art Center. Performances start at 5 and 7 p.m. Admission is free but donations to the one-act team will be accepted.
Advisors for the one-act are Amber Goodspeed and Cheri Tesarek. The cast and crew include Kate Bergum, Cierra Davey, Abigale Davis, Samuel Dotterwick, Melanie Erickson, Dylan Forte, Erynn Hierl, Jacob Horrocks, Mariah Johnson, Kallyn Lagro, Brianne MacDonell, Brittany MacDonell, Robert McGrady, Carter Mingus, David Minor, Rachael Ronding, Shayna Schafter, Isabel Skye, Joshua Smith, Trey Sorensen, Rachel Stipetich, Michelle Tesarek, Jasmin Valencia and Nicholas Walkowiak.
