SHS thespians earn spot at state competition
The Superior High School one-act team will give two community performances of their play, "Booby Trap," at 5 and 7 p.m. Friday in the SHS Performing Arts Center.
The Superior High School one-act team will move on to state competition following their performance in Eau Claire last Friday. First, they will give two community performances of the play, "Booby Trap," at 5 and 7 p.m. Friday in the SHS Performing Arts Center. Admission is free but donations to the one-act team will be accepted.
Their production earned a state berth in Stevens Point on Nov. 16 or 17. The play is about a soldier who sits on a “booby trap” and reflects back on his life as he deals with the situation at hand.
Advisors for the one-act are Amber Goodspeed and Cheri Tesarek. The cast and crew include Kate Bergum, Cierra Davey, Abigale Davis, Samuel Dotterwick, Melanie Erickson, Dylan Forte, Erynn Hierl, Jacvob Horrocks, Mariah Johnson, Kallyn Lagro, Brianne MacDonell, Brittany MacDonell, Robert McGrady, Carter Mingus, David Minor, Rachael Ronding, Shayna Schafter, Isabel Skye, Joshua Smith, Trey Sorensen, Rachel Stipetich, Michelle Tesarek, Jasmin Valencia and Nicholas Walkowiak.
