C/F Bonspiel kicks off on Friday night at curling club

The annual Cystic/Fibrosis curling bonspiel is this weekend at the Superior Curling Club, which is located at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds.

The event, hosted by curling great Bud Somerville, begins with two draws at 3 p.m. Friday. Opening-day draws are also at 5, 7 and 9 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
