Craft, bake sale

Faith Lutheran Church of Maple holds its annual Craft and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Maple Community Center on Highway 2. Refreshments served by the youth group. There will also be a Youth Group Christmas Room, where nothing costs more than $1.

Silent auction

“Ringing in the Holidays Silent Auction” runs 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the Solon Springs Community Center sponsored by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. There will lots of homemade items, unique gift baskets and services up for auction. Sloppy Joes, dessert and beverages available.

Concert

Duluth Gospel Tabernacle hosts a Shane and a Shane concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 1515 W. Superior St. Tickets are $10. Call 218-722-1928 or visit www.duluthgospel-tab.org.

King’s Men breakfast

King’s Men meets at 6:45 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St., Superior, for breakfast, fellowship and a presentation. A free will offering is received for the meal and the morning is complete no later than 7:30 a.m. The speaker for November is Dan Blank, Douglas County district attorney. All men of the community are cordially invited. Call ahead at 715-392-4731 if possible, but drop ins are always welcome.
