University Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” Nov. 8-10 and Nov. 16-18 in Manion Theater in the Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Director Cathy Fank uses the commedia dell’arte style to tell Shakespeare’s classic comedy of two couples — one glibly scornful of love and the other hopelessly besotted — who are tricked on their way to the altar by deception, gossip and mistaken identity.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8, 9, 10, 16 and 17 and a 1 p.m. matinee Nov. 18.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and non-UWS students, and $2 for UWS students. Group rates may be available. Call 715-394-8380 for information.
