The Superior High School girls swimming and diving team dominated the 2012 Lake Superior Conference all-conference team with Spartans being honored in 10-of-12 events.
Sophomore Kaitlin Heinen was the most honored, being named all-LSC in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly and as a member of the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
Other members of Superior’s 200 medley relay are Victoria Johnson, Nicole Hansen and Julie Snyder, while joining Heinen on the 200 free relay are Grace Elonen, Kjersten Lisak and Snyder.
Four Spartans were honored in three events, including: Tori Johnson, 200 medley relay, 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay; Snyder, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay; Elonen, 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay; and Lisak, 200 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Also honored were Kaitlin Sanders, 100 breaststroke; Giselle Sziron, one-meter diving; and Hansen, 200 medley relay.
