Dinner honors war on terror veterans who served in Iraq, Afghanistan

Veterans’ Memorial Hall hosts Veterans Remembrance Dinner on Dec. 6.

The event begins at 5 p.m. in the Great Hall of the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center (the Depot) to honor our local veterans of the war on terror. Proceeds support the Veterans’ Memorial Hall.

The keynote speaker is Command Sgt. Maj. John Werner, who retired after 40 years in the military, his last tour served in Afghanistan.

Tickets are $35 and dinner is prepared by the Arrowhead Professional Chefs Association. Tickets can be purchased at the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center or call 218-733-7500.

This community-based event is being sponsored by many leading local businesses. The Arrowhead Professional Chefs Association will donate its services for meal preparation.
