As part of the Engwalls Corn Maze mission of giving back to the community, Superior Figure Skating Club will be raising money at the Engwall’s Corn Maze halloween festivities in Hermantown from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The SFSC will help host the second annual Corn-i-ville, an old fashioned carnival with fun Halloween twists. Children will get to trick or treat in the Corn Maze where they will find costumed characters at stations within the maze.
Carnival games and activities will take place inside the Engwalls Garden Center Building. The SFSC has organized and will operate a number of “game booths” where children will use tickets that come with their admission to play games. Some of the booths include a duck pond, bean bag toss, ring toss on pumpkin stems, football throw, etc. Outside, they will be able to try the corn cannons and the new corn sling shots.
One of the highlights of Corn-i-ville will be the costume parade that takes place at noon. Prizes will be awarded for a number of categories.
Corn-i-Ville admission is $10 at the door for children and $8 for adults. Children’s admission includes a trick-or-treat bag, trick or treating and carnival game tickets. A portion of each admission is donated to the participating organizations.
Hot chocolate, coffee and snacks will be available at Corn-i-ville from the Hermantown Community Fund.
