The Superior Public Library hosts a trick-or-treat event, “Famous Witches & Wizards,” 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m. Oct. 26 at the library, 1530 Tower Ave.
This is the library’s third annual trick-or-treat, with the theme changing every year. Last year’s Wizard of Oz theme drew nearly 1,000 trick-or-treaters, which is double the amount of attendees from 2010’s Addams Family event.
This community event is a fun, safe way for families and children to dress in costume and visit their favorite witches and wizards, like Maleficent and Harry Potter.
While the event is free, we do ask that participants bring a nonperishable food item for the local food shelf. For more information, call the library at 715-394-8867 or visit www.superiorlibrary.org.
