Superior: The annual craft sale sponsored by the Douglas County Association for Home and Community Education runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Head of the Lakes fairgrounds, 4700 Tower Ave. More than 50 area crafters offer a large variety of items for sale, along with a bake sale, lunch, refreshments and door prizes. Admission is $1 and includes a door prize ticket. The group is also collecting donations for CASDA; receive an extra door prize ticket for a personal care item to donate. Superior: Superior High School students Ben Erickson, Brandon Gustafson, Peter Kraus and Kelsey Reder host “Tailgate to Recovery” 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. outside the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Mortorelli Drive. The fundraiser for flood relief features the Badger game televised on a large outdoor screen at 11 a.m., food vendors, inflatables for kids, prizes such as a grandfather clock and a football signed by the Packers, plus three bands.
