Pilgrim Congregational offers heavenly eats

The gourmet cooks at Pilgrim Congregational Church will provide a much-deserved meal prep break on three Fridays in October.

Godly Gourmet Sandwiches are offered Oct. 19 and Oct. 26 for those who love adventures in eating, and for those in need of someone else coming up with a great meal for the family.

Each take out menu offers three different sandwiches and two soups, including a vegetarian choice. The soup-sandwich combo comes with home-style coleslaw and a complimentary cookie for $15, or two meals for $29. Individual soups are $5, sandwiches $10. The menus change each week, and are available for viewing on www.pilgrimduluth.org.

To ensure that patrons get the sandwich they want, an ordering hotline is set up to take orders until the previous Thursday; call 218-728-1121.

Sandwiches can be picked up at the church, 2310 E. Fourth St. in Duluth between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on the scheduled Fridays.
