King’s Men meet
King’s Men meet Thursday at 6:45 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St., for breakfast, fellowship, and a presentation. A free will offering will be received for the meal, and the morning will be complete no later than 7:30 a.m. The speaker for the month of October will be Larry Goodwin, President of the College of St. Scholastica. All men of the community are cordially invited. Call ahead at (715) 392-4731, if possible, but drop-ins are always welcome.
Dinner, bake sale
Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Ave., holds its Ham Dinner and Bake Sale 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for kids 5-12, and children 4 and younger are free. Tickets available from church members or at the church office, or call 715-394-9608. Dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes, carrots, coleslaw, rolls, raisin sauce, applesauce and dessert. The church is handicap accessible.
