Police: Pregnant woman doused with gas

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Marshfield police say officers have made an arrest in the case of a pregnant woman who was doused with gas, punched and threatened.

Authorities say the 23-year-old suspect threatened to light the woman on fire, punched her in the stomach and tried to strangle her during a three-hour domestic ordeal on Sept. 29.

WAOW-TV says the woman tried to escape, but was unable to leave.
