Session offers Medicare information for seniors

Senior Connections offers Medicare informational sessions Oct. 10 at the Superior Public Library.

The first session begins at 10 a.m. and the second session, a repeat of the first, begins at 1 p.m. People age 60 and older who will be eligible for Medicare soon, as well as people who will turn 65 this year and want information on Medicare, should attend. Elder Benefit Specialist of Douglas County, Pat Nelson, provides basic information about the parts of Medicare, costs, benefits, enrollment periods and more.

The sessions are free and open to the public. Call 715-394-3611 or 715-395-7533 to sign up. Space is limited.
