The season came to an end for the Superior High School girls golf team with a seventh-place finish at Wednesday’s WIAA Division 1 regional tournament at the New Richmond Golf Course.
The host Tigers finished first as a team with a score of 344. The Spartans finished at 451.
New Richmond’s Alex Wheeler was the meet medalist with an 81. River Falls’ Halle Hauer was a stroke back at 82.
For Superior, Amanda Hinaus finished tied for 24th place with a 104. Kali O’Neill and Allison Shober tied for 33rd with 115s; and Alisha Moran and Samantha Aune tied for 35th with 117s.
O’Neill and Moran are seniors, while Hinaus, Shober and Aune are sophomores.
