Petco hosts Adopt-a-thon
Animal Allies Humane Society will partner with the Duluth Petco and the Petco Foundation for an Adopt-a-Thon from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Animal Allies Humane Society will partner with the Duluth Petco and the Petco Foundation for an Adopt-a-Thon from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. This event will be packed with activities including free grooming and dog training seminars, agility demonstrations by the Animal Allies Humane Education Program, a pet supply raffle drawing and multiple pet vendors.
At least 50 adoptable cats and dogs will be on site hoping to find a loving new home. Adoption fees will be waived for all cats. All dog adoptions will be discounted by $50. The Petco Adoption Event is part of the Twin Ports Campaign for Zero, which aims to eliminate the euthanasia of all healthy cats and dogs entering Twin Ports shelters and is made possible by the partnership of Animal Allies Humane Society, the City of Duluth, the City of Superior and generous support from maurices.
