Every year Senior Connections charters a handicap accessible standard coach bus from LCS Coaches for seniors of Douglas County to take a bus trip to view the colors of fall.

Every year Senior Connections charters a handicap accessible standard coach bus from LCS Coaches for seniors of Douglas County to take a bus trip to view the colors of fall. The route is Superior to Carlton, Wrenshall and back to Superior, with a quick stop at the Brick Yard for coffee and to stretch your legs. The trip is free, except for your purchases at the Brick Yard.

You must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Douglas County to participate, and you must sign up in advance. Seniors will be picked up at the following locations beginning at 1 p.m. on Oct. 5. The Superior Douglas County Senior Center, Lund Hill Apartments (both Downtown and East End locations), Golden Apartments, Phoenix Villa, Royalton Manor and participating nursing homes. We expect to return home around 5 p.m.
