Solon Springs
Drummond Lumberjills defeated the Solon Springs volleyball team 3-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday night in the SSHS gym.
The ’Jills won by scores of 26-24, 25-15 and 25-22.
Drummond also won the JV match 3-0.
Solon Springs hosts Bayfield at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Northwestern
Northwestern High School fell to Barron 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-11) Tuesday night at Barron.
The Tigers had eight kills and 10 digs as a team. For the season NHS is 4-5 overall and 1-3 in Heart O’ North Conference play.
Northwestern hosts Hayward at 7 p.m. Thursday.
