United Presbyterian Church in Superior, 229 N. 28th St. E. hosts its Big Rally Sunday this weekend.

The day begins with a festive worship service at 10 a.m. Praise songs and music from both the Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir and hymns will lift spirits. The theme of the worship service is “We Love UPC” and reflects on how the congregations that now comprise United Presbyterian Church have transformed in the past 10 years, celebrate the congregation’s ministry and mission in the present, and envision where the church wants to be in five years.

Children also will be a focus of Big Rally Sunday. During worship they will join in the singing of praise songs, be blessed while standing under the Canopy of Blessing, and then they will head off to their respective Sunday school classes.

Following worship there will be a potluck lunch for all to enjoy. After breaking bread together, board games will be put out on the tables for all members of the congregation — young and old alike — to play together and to celebrate being United Presbyterian Church together.

For information, call (715) 392-4751.
