Family movie

Bring the family to Bayside Baptist Church (corner of New York and Belknap) on today for a big-screen showing of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.” Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with the movie beginning at 6:30 p.m. Popcorn and beverages during the movie; ice cream sundaes afterwards. Nursery service available.

Polka Mass

Cathedral of Christ the King hosts its Polka Mass, Dinner and Dance on Saturday. Mass starts at 4:30 p.m. followed by a dinner of bratwurst, Polish sausage, hot dogs, potato salad, and German and Polish desserts at 5:30 p.m. The Osacho Sisters perform music for dancing following Mass.

Meatball supper

Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Ave., Superior holds its annual meatball dinner from 4-7 p.m. Monday with 10 percent of profits going to local food shelf. Tickets are: $8 adults, $4 under age 10, free under age 5 in advance; $9 adults, $5 under age 10, free under age 5 at the door. Take-outs are available. Tickets are available at the church office or call (715) 394-3472 for more information. Deadline for advanced tickets is today.

Harvest supper

Brule Presbyterian Church hosts a harvest supper from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brule Town Hall. The menu includes roast beef and gravy, real mashed potatoes, rutabaga, corn, squash, green beans, pickles, bread, dessert, coffee and juice. Cost is $9 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 7-12 and children age 6 and younger eat free.
