LETTER: Understand your congressman, how he votes

To the Telegram:

The question for voters of the 7th Congressional District is will the Democrats offer a candidate more cunning than Congressman Sean Duffy. The Bush presidency introduced us to alphabet soup, NAFTA, CAF, etc. It’s a beautiful scam to encourage illegal immigration and collapse wages in America. Eliminating the Glass Stegall Act was also a gift from the Bush Republicans. Glass Stegall blocked Goldman-Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and others from betting both sides against the taxpayer.

Some of the unconstitutional bills that Duffy has voted for in the last year are HR3523, HR4310, HR3521, HR2055, HR3080, and S365. But the most diabolical bill Duffy voted for was the NDAA bill. This bill allows the president to arrest and indefinitely detain American citizens, including, pro-family, pro-life supporters for as long as he wants without them being charged.

In August 2010, I spent three hours talking with Sean Duffy concerning America’s political situation. Duffy led me to believe he understood “just war” that Americans didn’t have the right to bomb other countries to impose democracy at will.

Today we have a president and a congress that is systemically creating chaos and killing Christians in Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Turkey, Libya, Syria and Afghanistan. This is not moral, this is not just, this is not Catholic. How can we have peace when countries like Israel are selling weapons to countries like China and Russia, including drones.
