Congressman Sean Duffy, R-Weston, announced today that he will be suspending campaign ads on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks to honor the memory of the individuals who lost their lives that horrific day.
“The memory of that day is so fresh and raw for all Americans," Duffy said. "Too many first responders, and brave, selfless people were lost 11 years ago. The least I can do, to honor those people who lost their lives on that fateful day is to suspend our campaign television ads for a day."
His opponent in the 7th District Congressional race, Pat Kreitlow also suspended campaign ads in memory of the victims of the 2001 attacks.
