NEW YORK (AP) — Sue Grafton is finally approaching the end of her run as a true woman of letters.
The million-selling mystery novelist has signed with longtime publisher G.P. Putnam's Sons for the final three books — X, Y and Z — of her alphabetically titled Kinsey Millhone series, which began in 1982 with "A is for Alibi." The publisher announced Friday that Grafton also has a book of previously unreleased Millhone stories, "Kinsey & Me," coming out in January. No date has been set for the series' completion.
Millhone books by Grafton, 72, include "C is for Corpse" and "V is for Vengeance." A "W' novel is also expected in 2013.
